  Children Teach Children — A New Model  of Responsibility  and Contribution Last year, for the very first time,  Edutop launched a groundbreaking program called  Children Teach Children  — where children stepped into the role of teachers to help other children learn. What made this initiative unique was that  the young teachers themselves  paid  to participate. Why would a teacher pay to teach? Because the purpose was deeper than just literacy. It was about  instilling seriousness, responsibility, and commitment  in the child who was taking on the role of a mentor.
