What can schools do about the Waqf bill 2025

School is all about learning - learning from nature, history, experiences, research, and societal changes.

Today (04.04.25), the Waqf bill was passed.
Use this as a launchpad to help your student connect with real-world issues through meaningful research.
The Waqf Bill should become part of the school learning program. Dedicate a full month to it.
Let your student explore:
  • What is Waqf?
  • What were its objectives and conditions?
  • What gaps existed?
  • Why did the government feel the need to bring a new bill?
  • What does the new bill entail?
  • What are its benefits?
  • How does it affect the Muslim community?
  • What solutions can be proposed?

Encourage students to research these questions and present their understanding in school.
Involve students in shaping the future of India. Let them be the change-makers.
Solution makers bounce back and seek the next opportunity instead of crying over spilled milk.

Let us create a stronger, wiser, and more focused generation—one that is better than we are. And for that, we need to expose them to current events and empower them to take ownership from now.

I would be delighted if anyone could connect with me and share feedback on how the discussions progressed.
