By Muqheeta Mehboob   Talking at Madinah Public School Hyderabad on Metamorphosis of teachers Metamorphosis of teachers Status is online Moqheeta Mehboob -- 5 articles April 28, 2023 I am sharing a post penned by Mrs Husna Shehwar, Faculty for English/ Social Science Dept at Madina High School. She posted this on https://www.facebook.com/profile/100063954401799/search/?q=moqheeta  on 21 June 2019   ·  Better than a thousand days of diligent study, is one day with a great teacher. Teaching being one of the noblest and most trusted professions of the world, has its own share of highs and lows. We are the bows from which the students are sent forth. As a teacher we are the most important part of a young student's life. But let's admit it, all of us, even the best, the most seasoned from amongst us, sooner or later crumble under the brutal burden of today's complicated and indifferently designed curriculum, clubbed along with other laborious activities like fashioni...

A DAY WITH THE EXPRESSIVE POETESSES OF NASR SCHOOL

Image
Another happy memory to journal and cherish - A day with little treasure troves of  #NASR  Girls School I was delighted to be invited as a judge for NASR Girls School's children's poetry competition. I had the pleasure of being immersed in the creative and imaginative world of young children. It was a beautiful experience to witness the enthusiasm and passion that these young poetesses poured into their work, and to see the incredible talent and confidence that they possessed. I was also impressed to notice the perfect preparation carried out by the school principal Mr Mir Mohiuddin Mohammed for the competition day, and the warm welcome that I received. The attention to detail and the care that was taken to ensure that everything went smoothly made the experience truly exceptional. The principal had clearly put a lot of thought and effort into planning the day, and it was evident in the seamless flow of activities and the smooth transitions between each phase of the competitio...

English Training Program for Social and Tribal Welfare teachers

By Muqheeta Mehboob Big team of trainers, the capable teachers, Mr Reddy and Mr Ronald Rose English Training Program for Social and Tribal Welfare teachers Journaling another beautiful experience!!!! The English language training program organised by  #Taralearningsolutions  for  #socialwelfare  and  #TribalWelfare  school teachers has been an amazing and lasting experience for me as a Trainer. I have had the privilege of working with 15 -20 Government school teachers from diverse backgrounds and cultures, each with their unique stories and experiences. One of the most beautiful experiences I've had as an English language trainer is seeing the progress and growth of my adult learners. It was a delight to see progress in their language skills and become more confident in their abilities. Over the years, I have found my work to be incredibly rewarding, as I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of language learning and the positive impact i...

FORGOTTEN HOBBY

Image
By Muqheeta Mehboob Things that make us happy - they can be many and varied Certain scenes make me happy; a fruit laden tree in someone’s backyard, summer nights being spent on the terrace, a motorcyclist beckoning a weary wayfarer to hop on to his bike and someone lost in a book.  Public commuting can be quite agonising at times. It is physically as well as mentally draining. At one point, my work required long travelling and thus I preferred to travel in metro trains. During these long commutes, one thing that I learnt was how to enjoy my metro journeys. Sometimes I sat, sometimes I stood, sometimes I leaned and sometimes I hung, but never did I miss observing people. The little social graces exhibited by my co passengers, their choice of engagements, it all fascinated me.  Amidst the hubbub of people getting on and off the train, the most common sight was people hunched over their phones and earpods stuck in their ears. Very seldom did I get to see a rare and dying trend ‘a...
